Grandpa was extremely grumpy two nights ago. "Wheel of fortune is a scam-only one person wins a large amount and puzzles like before and after are cheats! I hate this show!" Yet he continues to watch it nightly. "I would hate to be a woman and carry those big luggage sacks (aka purses) around!" "You got me a paint by number? I don't even like to paint. She's trying to put me to work; after this she'll have a honey do list for me!" This was after he wanted to paint some picture frames I was working on. Oh grandpa!
This night of grumpy was followed by a night of him laughing himself to tears. He was telling us about this movie that was so funny and how damn good the director must have been to get a woman to pee in a sink...he was referencing Bridesmaids. Oh grandpa!
His favorite thing to do is to watch Aiden (who he calls squirt). He reports to us all of the things Aiden does while he laughs at his orneriness. Tonight he was amused by Aiden taking the grapes off Ethan's plate when we set the dinner plates down. No one else was in the room except grandpa and Aiden had his own grapes, but his brother's must have tasted better. Aiden's favorite thing to do is watch grandpa and tattle on him. This morning it was, "Mom, grandpa is trying to put his leg thing on by himself!" The normal tattle is, "Mom, grandpa called me silly!" Oh grandpa!
