Life with Grandpa

Writer: Kista CorringtonKista Corrington

Valentine's Day is full of love shown in many different ways; hugs, kisses, cards, laughter, tears, and much more. Valentine's Day with grandpa is filled with tears, money, jokes, and coffee spitting laughter. The conversation began with grandpa handing me money and telling me to get something nice for myself, NOT for the kids, but for myself. I told him I didn't need for anything. He told me to get something nice like a fancy bra. I asked him if he was trying to tell me that gravity was grabbing things and I needed to intervene. He laughed. I turned to Scott and told him it sounded like grandpa wanted to go to a lingerie store. Grandpa, very quickly, stated if he was going anywhere it would be a peep show, not a lingerie store. Oh grandpa!
